Steps to create a fully functional Scorecard Model:
Creation of Document in Modeller
Create your own document in the Modeller
Refer to the image below
Step 1: Create and Name a New Document
Open the Modeller from the Launchpad
Step 2: Select the New Document icon
Select the document from the new document icon
Assign the folder location to be in Mining and the file name to be [first initial.surnameMine] as shown below;
Step 3: Save the document.
Value Model Customisation
To customise the Value Model, follow the steps below;
Step 1: Set Document Properties
Assign a Short Name
Assign a Thumbnail image for your document

Locate the Images folder, and proceed to search for and select the image 77Mining.jpg
Step 2: Create a New Model in Concerto's Model Library

Set Model ID to [netRev]. Set Model Name to [Net Revenue]

Metric Tab - Value Model Customisation
Step 1: Upload Metrics
To fast track model building use Upload Metrics Tool, allowing quick loading of Metrics from CSV file.
Step 2: Select All to assign the following Metric Settings to every node
Mapping & Calculation Tab - Value Model Customisation
Step 1: Metric Details, Order, & Configuration
Select all Children, that is, every child node, to allow bulk setting of all children mapping rules to Manual Data Entry.
Step 2: Select all Parents
Proceed to set Population to Calculation
Note: Configuring the Parent nodes for this exercise, as well as in-real-life application, will sometimes require additional deliberation per parent node.
Traffic Light & Simulation Tab - Value Model Customisation
Step 1: Select & Assign Stoplight Thresholds
Individually select all Cost associated nodes using <Crtl> + LMB
Note: <ShiftKey> + LMB allows for bulk selection of nodes on the same level of a hierarchy
Step 2: Individually select all Revenue associated nodes
Step 3: Select all Children
Step 4: Select all Parents
Make sure to untick Show in the worksheet

Add your first tile
Add your first tile, and then configure as shown below

Step 1: Input Net Revenue Master Data
Open ‘Net Rev Master & Transactional Data’ file from your dedicated exercise folder
Transactional Data - Value Model Customisation
Step 1: Play your Concerto document
Step 2: Navigate to Worksheet View
Open the worksheet view from the toolbar.
Step 3: Navigate to the transactional page and transactional data excel spreadsheet
Copy and paste the metrics for Actual, Budget, and Target over to the running document’s Worksheet View in a process similar to the input of master data
Step 4: Once all of the required metrics are copied over, make sure to Save the Data
